In 2015, Lesley published Eat Mexico: Recipes from Mexico City’s Streets, Markets and Fondas (Kyle Books), which topped best-of-the-year lists in Food 52, Leite’s Culinaria, Edible Feast and Yahoo! Food. In 2010, she co-founded the tourism company Eat Mexico, which offers street food and market tours in Mexico City and Puebla. She still runs Eat Mexico today, overseeing a staff of eight with frequent trips to Mexico's Distrito Federal.
