As a writer and coach, Lesley works with clients to decolonize their writing process, moving away from perfectionism, rigidity, and exhaustion, and toward spaciousness and self-love.

Lesley believes in using breath and movement as a partner in creativity, and in the power of writing to heal. She has often used food as a vehicle for storytelling.

As a food writer, Lesley’s work has appeared in Food & Wine, Bon Appetit, and elsewhere. Their cookbook Eat Mexico topped best-of-the-year lists in 2015. For 10 years, Lesley owned and operated the food tour company Eat Mexico.
